Strain 10 – post-apocalyptic Science Fiction/Horror, Novel
In the year 2014 a supervirus decimated the population of the United States of America. It’s origin unknown, the virus that became known as Ghost infected humanity, killing over 95% of the population. The survivors were not left unscathed, suffering from genetic side-effects that were divided up into twelve unique strains of Ghost, each developing their own cultures, slang nicknames, and impacting what is left of society.
Fourteen years later a young girl, Cass, is picked up by two pioneers on the remains of Interstate 76. Micah and Kelly are traveling across what’s left of America, documenting the rebuilding process with a battered old videocamera and a desire for answers. Joining them on their quest, Cass discovers that their research and goal is a lot more dangerous than just documenting America’s recovery in the Aftermath.
Comics and Graphic Novels:
Ghost – apocalyptic science-fiction/horror, four part graphic novel
A supervirus rapidly spreads across America and the rest of the world, killing millions of people after a brief period of flulike illness. Society begins collapsing as fear and death fill the cities. However, a significant percentage of the populace wakes from delirious illness and survives the outbreak, a few living souls amongst the dead.
The survivors begin suffering from strange and unusual aftereffects, genetic mutations that come from different strains of the virus. As the government and media collapse completely, one family attempts to reunite across the new American wasteland and a small group of doctors attempt to study and classify the strains of the disease, Ghost.
